GLP1Zoom publishes editorial content about GLP-1 weight loss medications and telehealth providers. We aim to be the most accurate, current, and useful resource in the GLP-1 niche. This page documents how we get there.
Sources we trust
For clinical claims, we rely on:
- FDA drug labels and prescribing information
- FDA shortage and enforcement databases
- Peer-reviewed clinical trials (NEJM, JAMA, Lancet, BMJ)
- Manufacturer-published clinical data (Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly)
- CDC and NIH publications
- Medical specialty society guidelines (Obesity Medicine Association, ADA)
Secondary sources (news articles, patient forums, manufacturer marketing material) are used for context only — never as the sole support for a clinical or pricing claim.
Pricing data
We verify pricing directly with each telehealth provider monthly. Last-verified dates are displayed on every provider price row. If a provider changes pricing between our verifications, the displayed price may be outdated — we encourage you to confirm before signing up.
We do not mark up partner prices.
You pay the same whether you reach a partner through GLP1Zoom or directly. Commission is paid by the partner out of marketing budget. Full disclosure on /affiliate-disclosure.
Provider reviews
For every telehealth provider we cover, a member of the GLP1Zoom team signs up and goes through the consultation flow. We document the experience, take screenshots, and verify advertised pricing matches actual checkout pricing. Our reviews reflect this hands-on experience.
We do not allow partners to review, edit, or approve articles before publication. We may share a pre-publication draft for fact-check rights only — never editorial control.
FDA compliance
Compounded GLP-1 medications are a regulatory grey zone in 2026. We label every compounded provider with an explicit FDA Compliance Notice. Our recommendations for compounded options carry weaker weight than FDA-approved brand-name options, and we update affected pages within 7 days of any FDA enforcement action.
Corrections
If you spot an error, email [email protected]. We aim to correct factual errors within 48 hours. Material corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected page with the original text struck through.
Review cadence
- Drug pages: revisited every 6 months minimum, sooner for label changes.
- Provider pages: revisited every 3 months minimum, sooner for ownership or regulatory changes.
- State pages: revisited annually, sooner for state regulatory changes.
- Comparison pages: revisited every 6 months.
AI-assisted content
Some research and copy-editing on GLP1Zoom is AI-assisted. Every page that touches a clinical or pricing claim is reviewed by a human editor before publication, and every medical claim is cross-checked by a US-licensed reviewer (MD, PharmD, or RD/CDCES). No page is published from AI output alone. See /medical-disclaimer for full AI-content labelling policy.
