Short version
Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic (the company behind Claude) so the AI can answer them. We do not send your name, email, account ID, or any user identity to Anthropic. We do notstore your conversations on our servers — they live only in your browser's sessionStorage and are cleared when you close the tab.
What we send to Anthropic
- The text of your current question and the recent turns in the same conversation (up to the last 6 messages).
- A system context block containing GLP1Zoom editorial summaries (drug names, prices, FDA status, provider scores) selected based on keywords in your question.
- The system prompt that defines the assistant's rules (no medical advice, citation requirements, tone).
What we do NOT send
- Your name, email address, or any account identifier.
- Your IP address (Anthropic sees our server's IP, not yours).
- Cookies, device fingerprints, or browsing history from glp1zoom.com.
What we store on our side
Nothing personally identifying. We log a per-request line with a redacted IP prefix (e.g. 203.0.113.***), token counts, and citation counts — used for rate-limit enforcement and aggregate volume metrics. We do not log the text of your questions or the assistant's replies.
Rate limits (10 questions/hour, 50/day) are enforced in-memory and reset when our server restarts.
Where your conversation lives
Your chat history is stored in your browser's sessionStorage only. That means it is:
- Never sent to our database.
- Deleted when you close the tab or click "New conversation".
- Not shared across tabs or devices.
Anthropic's data policy
Anthropic is our AI provider. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. For details, see Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
PHI / health information
Do not share Protected Health Information (PHI) with the assistant. GLP1Zoom is not a HIPAA-covered entity and this AI assistant is not a HIPAA service. Keep your messages general — e.g. "Compare Wegovy and Zepbound prices" rather than "My HbA1c is X, what should I take?"
Your rights
Because we do not store your conversations or identify you, there is nothing for us to delete on request. You can clear your local history at any time by clicking "New conversation" in the chat or by closing the browser tab.
