Editorial Policy

goodx publishes editorial content about GLP-1 weight loss medications and telehealth providers. We aim to be the most accurate, current, and useful resource in the GLP-1 niche. This page documents how we get there.

Sources we trust

For clinical claims, we rely on:

  • FDA drug labels and prescribing information
  • FDA shortage and enforcement databases
  • Peer-reviewed clinical trials (NEJM, JAMA, Lancet, BMJ)
  • Manufacturer-published clinical data (Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly)
  • CDC and NIH publications
  • Medical specialty society guidelines (e.g., Obesity Medicine Association, ADA)

Pricing data

We verify pricing directly with each telehealth provider monthly. Last-verified dates are displayed on every provider price row. If a provider changes pricing between our verifications, the displayed price may be outdated — we encourage you to confirm before signing up.

Provider reviews

For every telehealth provider we cover, a member of the goodx team signs up and goes through the consultation flow. We document the experience, take screenshots, and verify advertised pricing matches actual checkout pricing. Our reviews reflect this hands-on experience.

FDA compliance

Compounded GLP-1 medications are a regulatory grey zone in 2026. We label every compounded provider with an explicit FDA Compliance Notice. Our recommendations for compounded options carry weaker weight than FDA-approved brand-name options, and we update affected pages within 7 days of any FDA enforcement action.
