Belmar Pharmacy
Belmar Pharma Solutions (Golden, CO) · Golden, CO
We do not sell medication and we have no commercial relationship with Belmar Pharmacy. Everything below is either published by a regulator or published by the pharmacy about itself, labelled as such and dated. We give you the official lookups rather than asking you to take our word for the current position.
The short answer
- Belmar Pharmacy is the trading name of Belmar Pharma Solutions (Golden, CO), based in Golden, CO. Regulators file under the legal name, so search that.
- Registration: 503A and 503B. Belmar Pharma Solutions is a group, and the distinction matters more here than anywhere else on this site. Belmar states that it runs six 503A pharmacies and two 503B outsourcing facilities, and that no single pharmacy can be both. Belmar Pharmacy in Golden, Colorado — the one that dispenses patient-specific prescriptions — is 503A and says it is licensed in all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico. Belmar Select Outsourcing is the separate 503B arm, which compounds hormone pellets and injectable testosterone blends for office use, not GLP-1s.
- FDA warning letter: 653740 (March 31, 2023). Read the dates and which site each one covers — both are material.
- Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are NOT FDA-approved as finished products, whichever pharmacy prepares them. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality.

Regulatory record
Every item below is a public document, linked to its source, with the date it was issued and the dates of any inspection behind it. Where the agency recorded the company's response, a completed recall, or which legal entity a record actually concerns, that is included — leaving it out would misrepresent the record. Where the company has answered publicly, its answer is printed too.
- FDA warning letter653740
From an inspection running 2022-06-06 to 2022-06-17.
FDA found that products failed the conditions of section 503A: the firm compounded using bulk drug substances that are not the subject of a USP or NF monograph, are not components of FDA-approved drugs and do not appear on the 503A bulks list, and used bulk substances from an establishment not registered under section 510.
Which entity this concerns: READ THE ADDRESSEE. This letter is addressed to "Belmar Pharma Solutions, Drug Depot, LLC., dba APS Pharmacy" and concerns an inspection of Drug Depot, LLC dba APS Pharmacy at 34911 US Highway 19 N, Palm Harbor, FLORIDA. It is a Belmar-group entity, but it is a different pharmacy in a different state from the Golden, Colorado pharmacy that fills patient prescriptions. Saying simply "Belmar has an FDA warning letter" would be inaccurate in a way that matters.
Context FDA published with it: FDA acknowledges the firm’s responses dated 12 July 2022, 15 August 2022 and 30 September 2022.
Our check on July 29, 2026 did not surface a published close-out. That means we did not find one, not that none exists.

What it compounds for GLP-1 patients
- · Compounded semaglutide
- · Compounded tirzepatide
Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved as finished drug products. FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality before they reach patients. That applies to every compounded GLP-1 regardless of which pharmacy prepares it, and it is a separate question from whether the pharmacy is licensed.
If you would rather not take that trade, the FDA-approved oral products now start at $149/month direct from their manufacturers — see the cheapest routes compared.

Search under the legal name — Belmar Pharma Solutions (Golden, CO) — not the brand. Regulators file under the legal entity, and searching the trading name alone is how records get missed.
- FDA — Registered Outsourcing Facilities (503B)
The authoritative list of pharmacies registered with the FDA as 503B outsourcing facilities (the higher-oversight compounding tier). If a pharmacy claims to be 503B, it should appear here.
- FDA — 503A vs 503B explainer
What the two compounding categories mean: 503A = patient-specific prescriptions under state board oversight; 503B = larger-batch outsourcing facilities under direct FDA cGMP inspection.
- FDA — Warning Letters search
Search the FDA’s public warning-letter database by company name to see whether a pharmacy has an open compliance action. Confirm the date and status — letters can be resolved.
- NABP — Verify a pharmacy / .pharmacy
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy tools flag rogue online pharmacies and list accredited ones. Legitimate US pharmacies are licensed by a state board.
- LegitScript — Certification lookup
LegitScript certifies healthcare merchants that meet legal + safety standards. Many reputable telehealth GLP-1 providers display a LegitScript badge you can verify here.
- Your state Board of Pharmacy
Every US pharmacy must be licensed by the state board where it operates (and often where it ships). State boards publish license status + disciplinary history.

What is the regulatory record for Belmar Pharmacy?
FDA issued warning letter 653740 on March 31, 2023, following an inspection running 2022-06-06 to 2022-06-17. Does Belmar Pharmacy make FDA-approved GLP-1 medication?
No compounding pharmacy does. Belmar Pharmacy publicly compounds compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved: the agency does not review them for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality before they reach patients. That is true of every compounded product regardless of which pharmacy prepares it, and it is a different thing from the pharmacy being licensed or unlicensed.
How do I check Belmar Pharmacy myself?
Three free lookups settle it: the FDA warning-letter database, searched by the legal name (Belmar Pharma Solutions (Golden, CO)) rather than the trading name; the FDA list of registered 503B outsourcing facilities, if the pharmacy claims 503B status; and your state board of pharmacy's licence verification. All three are linked at the bottom of this page. Check the legal name — regulators file under it, and searching the brand alone misses records.
